Fitness business hucksters

Written by

I have been noticing a lot of fitness business coaches/consultants advertising on Facebook lately.  I should clarify:  I have noticed many new faces through Facebook advertising.

I know what I am about to say is going to come across as self-serving and maybe even insecure, but please believe when I say that is not the case:  They are probably all full of shit.

I mean, seriously, these people throw up things like, “Get 90 new leads in 6 seconds……………..”

People fall for this shit.

Maybe there are one or two that have some decent advice to give, I don’t know.  I just remember one dude, a few years ago, one of the first that I saw trying to get people to attend his free shit, webinars, etc.  I reached out to him after watching his huckster like webinar, and he got back to me, sort of like he was interested in how I could team up with him.

Within one month, he was gone.  Poof.  Like a fart in the wind.

So, I will admit to being guilty of experiencing some sensitivity when I see what seems to me to be overpromising ads.

Hire a business coach.  You should.  And this is coming from someone who is no longer 100% a fitness business coach.  I still do it and am awesome at it, but I do it different than others.

1.       I come onsite.  I travel cheap and get my ass in front of you and your team.  This is the best way to learn.  I teach you stuff, some of which you already know, but get you thinking about it in a more exciting and fun way.

2.       I use a communication assessment tool as the foundation of my training.  So that, right there, without going any further, separates me from all other fitness business coaches, or coaches in general.  Ask them, “How does coming onsite work? And do you have a communication or personality tool you use as the foundation of your training?”

3.       I know what you are willing to do and not willing to do.  This is a bit tricky to explain, but as a former gym owner, I know you aren’t willing to spend 50 hours per week guerilla marketing your gym.  I know you don’t have $5000.00 per month to spend on mailers.  I get it. I work within those parameters.

4.       I teach you how to sell PT the only fucking way that has ever been proven to work, and I will lay it out for you right here:

-          Get 70% of new members in front of a trainer for a free session.

-          Get that trainer to convert 50% or more of these folks to clients.

This is how you do it, and when I come onsite (or if not in the budget, we can do it via telephone) you will learn the step by step approach to making this happen.

So, before you go spending hundreds or thousands of dollar on somebody promising 75 leads by lunch time, schedule a free, no obligation call with me by clicking on this link.
