Simple, but not easy

Wake up every day and think about the numbers first.  The goals.  How many sales are we going to make today?  How many do we need?

Work your plan to achieve those goals.

Success doesn’t come to you.  You have to go get it.

Setting goals and motivating staff

The first step is to determine what your monthly sales goals are.  The next step is to break these monthly goals down weekly and daily.

Determining goals:  History and trend.  History is what were the sales 12 months ago.  Trend is the three months leading up to this month.

Example for setting January 2017 goals:  Sales for January 2016 were 84.   Sales for October/November/December of 2016 (three months prior to January of 2017) were 215.  (66, 72, 77 respectively)

84 plus 215 equals 299.

242 divided by 4 (for the four total months added together) equals 74.75

Your goal for January is 75.

Orange Theory Fitness

I’ve written about Planet Fitness quite a bit over the past few years.  I have typed several words about Snap Fitness and Anytime Fitness during that time as well.

Retro Fitness and Koko Fit Club have also been mentioned by me at one time or another.

But I have never written about Orange Theory Fitness.

So, let me do what I am wont to do, which is write as much as I know about this fitness franchise, ripping and complimenting them as much as I can, sending the link for this blog post to the big knockers at Orange Theory headquarters, and see what happens.

Likely, I won’t hear back from them, but I will nevertheless pretend that they share my article around their office and bitch about what an idiot I am……………..

The rule is this

The rule is this:  Target people who you want money from (in exchange for your expertise) and provide your best information/advice/instruction for FREE.

Because once you hook them with the conviction that you are the expert, that you care, and that you want to help them, many of them…….at least some of them are going to ask you for more and be willing to pay for it.

Before I proceed, let me do my best to explain a couple of important things.
