That's what she said

Okay, so here's the deal:  I love the fact that people read my blog posts.  I am discouraged a bit, by the fact that I receive very little feedback.  There is a comment section and my email is This email address is being protected from spambots. A story about the CEO of a franchisor

In case anybody who reads my blog posts wonders, I currently have about 200 people who read what I write on a regular basis. I am pretty proud and happy about that.  I know that one year from now, it will ikely be three times that amount and within 5 years I plan to have over 1000 loyal followers.

I predict that a high percentage of my "followers" are leaders in their organization.  They choose to read my stuff, watch my videos, come to my workshops, my speaking engagements, and hire me as a consultant because, even as leaders, they know that they have to follow on occasion.

While I was in charge of the training program for hundreds of gym owners, I was constantly seeking information from others in the industry.  I wanted to learn what other people were saying.  I was smart enough to know that my so called "leaders" were stuck in 1995.

Clint Eastwood

I remember when "The Unforgiven" won the oscar for best picture.  I thought it was the worst movie ever to win best picture.  Now, don't get me wrong, it's a fine film.  But the best picture of the year should be a reserved for better than "fine".

Clint Eastwood is the main character in the film, and like a lot of his other movies, he basically plays the same guy.  Quiet, serious, tough guy who always appears to be thinking about something important.  Mr. Eastwood has carved a very nice and profitable career from playing the same guy over and over.
