Simple, but not easy

Wake up every day and think about the numbers first.  The goals.  How many sales are we going to make today?  How many do we need?

Work your plan to achieve those goals.

Success doesn’t come to you.  You have to go get it.

I got scammed and a great deal for you

Before I started my career as a fitness business coach, I read a book.  Well, I read more than one, but there was one in particular that was more directly related to what I do.

In this book, the author provided a lot of specific and applicable information.  And his biggest and most central message to his readers is this:  Create great content, and give your best content away for FREE.

Lives I've helped change

Years ago I was hired by a guy to help him and some others open a bunch of gyms.  He was my boss for a couple of years.

About 18 months ago, he hired me to help him run a better a gym.  He had acquired the means to own his own, all by himself, and paid me to teach him my systems.

He now has two gyms and sells all kinds of training and makes all kinds of money.

5 questions

Question number 1:  “Jason, how would you describe what you do?”

Answer:  I help gyms make more money.  That’s the shortest and simplest answer.   A gym is defined as any type of fitness center, big, medium, small, mainstream, rent a treadmill, training only, studio, etc.  I help them make more money by teaching them how to master the fundamentals.  Even in a franchise system, like an Anytime Fitness, there is no process for an expert, like me, to come to your gym and see your operation, meet you and the staff, assess your market, and provide hands on training specific to your gym.

“Hi, I have no idea what to say…….”

I have over 200 videos on youtube.  They are “video tips of the day”.  I started filming and posting these in May of 2012.  That is the month that I launched www.jasonlinse.com and shut down www.smallboxfitness.com.

A few months later I changed the business name from Small Box Fitness Consultants to The Business of Fitness.

I have a coach/mentor. Everybody should, especially business owners.  That statement is not a sales pitch, dear lord, I have and will continue to offer all sorts of free stuff to help gym owners.  That statement is a fact. But having a coach/mentor makes me a better fitness business coach.  In fact, my coach is on record as saying that I am one of the best next generation consultants in the fitness business. I didn’t even have to bribe him.  Well, maybe a little.
